5 Things I Want To Do On The Internet
June 2, 2007 | murphyz
I have the internet back at home again, which makes me happy.
It wasn’t hard to go without it, but then when it came to my wanting to do things the lack of internet made it more difficult. I’m writing a large article for one of my blogs and along with that there will be a huge chart - which is quite unique to the related industry - and although I know everything I wish to write, checking out little details requires the internet and so it just blocks you from doing certain things whilst not having 24 hour access. I’m also sitting an exam in 2 weeks time and the internet is used to help with some revision, and since I don’t have time to do it at work - a lack of access at home isn’t helping my studies at all.
So, now it’s back and I could get on with it all - or just procrastinate more, play online poker and watch YouTube videos all day long.
Anyway, here’s 5 things I want to do on the internet within the next year. No reason why, other than I haven’t done these yet and many other people have.
1. Sell an item on eBay.
2. Upload a video to YouTube.
3. Add a page to wikipedia.
4. Withdraw $100 from Google adsense.
5. Appear on the front page of digg.com.
All quite achievable, but some will require more work than others. I think if I get #5 done for the right blog, that will take care of #4. The rest of them are all easy…or at least would be if I had a video camera.
I also want to do them all without cheating. I could easily get people to digg an entry for cash, and write that off with the $100 of adsense, or get someone I know to buy the ebay item. I don’t wish to do that though.

I’ve made £150 on eBay in the last week! Chuffed!
Well done you. Did you sell anything nice…or just old pap?
Mxx
An old laptop (which pretty much fell into the latter category) and some clothes that didn’t fit anymore. Better get some cash for them than leave them in my wardrobe!
